Home-based Processing of Dairy Products

This course covers the principles of processing different dairy products at home. Learn hands-on processing of liquid milk, yoghurt, ice cream, white cheese, mozzarella cheese, processed cheese and pastillas de leche within the comforts of your home. This course also includes topics on cheese coagulant and sensory evaluation of dairy products. This course is offered once a year.

Dairy Cattle Production and Management

This is a course on the principles of dairy production, management of dairy farms under Philippine conditions, and animal health. It will also cover feeds, pasture management, and dairy economics. Hands-on exercises in proper animal handling, identification and milking are also included.
